When restoring a Buddhist statue, we follow the three major principles of Buddhist statue restoration: "maintaining the status quo, prioritizing the original, and reversibility."
It's important to take action.
Additionally, the feelings of the owners who have protected the property for many years are also important.
We must not forget that many of the Buddhist statues that we can see today have a history of being protected and passed down by people.
I myself take on a sense of responsibility in my role of passing on Buddhist statues to future generations.
