The statue of the Virgin Mary and Child, donated by Medlin Phillips in 1931, has been kept at Mejiro Anglican Church for a long time.

The statue's appearance had been marred by dirt caused by age, damage from impact, and repair marks,

We aimed to restore the statue to its original state of splendor while respecting the historical circumstances under which it has been preserved.
