Horse and girl

During the summer when I was a first-year master's student, I was making something to submit to a public competition.

I was unable to complete this piece at the time, and even afterwards I was unable to make much progress on it.

However, thanks to my great-uncle who waited a long time for it to be completed, it has finally taken shape.

My sense of carving has changed since I first started,

I feel like I've met my old self for the first time in a long time.

I wonder if my kind grandmother would be happy about this?
